RAFTERWAKE · CONTRACTOR FAQ

Good questions deserve straight answers.

A practical guide to Rafterwake for small U.S. remodeling contractors: what the homeowner form collects, how estimate visits are booked, and what stays in your hands.

DETAILS FOR YOUR BUSINESS

How Rafterwake works

How does Rafterwake handle homeowner inquiries?

Rafterwake gives your remodeling business a hosted homeowner inquiry form and a private inbox for submissions from that form. Homeowners can share their name, email, optional phone number, property ZIP code, and project details. You review each saved inquiry in your Rafterwake account.

What project details can a homeowner provide?

The hosted form asks for the homeowner’s contact details, the property’s five-digit ZIP code, and a written description of the remodeling project. Homeowners can also choose from the estimate visits you have made available.

How does estimate scheduling work?

In contractor setup, you choose the days, hours, time zone, and visit methods you can offer. The homeowner form shows available estimate-visit times, and a selected visit is saved with the inquiry in your account.

What do the contractor reports show?

The daily report summarizes homeowner inquiries and estimate visits saved through your Rafterwake form for a selected date in your business time zone. You can filter the report by lead and appointment status.

Does Rafterwake monitor email, phone calls, or social channels?

No. Rafterwake handles inquiries submitted through its hosted homeowner form. It does not monitor external channels such as your email inbox, phone calls, or social accounts.

Will Rafterwake send follow-up messages to homeowners?

No. Rafterwake can prepare and save a follow-up draft on an inquiry for you to review and copy. Drafts remain unsent: Rafterwake does not send outbound follow-up messages, so you decide whether and when to contact the homeowner.
